New Delhi: India's cricket team is currently in Australia for the highly anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, a five-Test match series. Despite facing challenging conditions, India emerged victorious in the first Test held in Perth, defeating Australia by a remarkable margin of 295 runs. This historic win made India the first team ever to achieve such a feat against Australia. Key players, including Virat Kohli, Yashaswi Jaiswal, and Jasprit Bumrah, played crucial roles in this triumph, which carries significant implications for the series and their qualification for the World Test Championship final. Notably, Virat Kohli showcased his brilliance by scoring his 30th Test century, while Yashaswi Jaiswal joined a select group of batsmen who have scored centuries in Perth.
