Deandra Dottin has returned to the West Indies' squad for the upcoming women's T20 World Cup in the UAE, two years after surprising everyone with her retirement announcement. Dottin, who holds the record for the fastest century in women's T20Is, shocked the cricketing world by abruptly quitting while captaining Barbados in the 2022 Commonwealth Games due to what she described as a "non-conducive" environment within the West Indies set-up. However, she had a change of heart last month and decided to make a comeback with the World Cup in mind.
