These NBA players were born on November 11 and have left a lasting impact on the league.

Rudy LaRusso (1937):

LaRusso was a second-round pick by the Minneapolis Lakers in the 1959 NBA Draft, and he was a key player when the franchise moved to Los Angeles his sophomore season. LaRusso spent eight years with the organization and made three of his five All-Star appearances while playing in L.A. LaRusso concluded his 10-year career with the San Francisco Warriors, retiring in 1969. The big man averaged 15.6 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists throughout his 10-year career.

Kevin Kunnert (1951): The man known as “Bubba” grew up in Iowa and became a star at Iowa University. That set the foundation for him to be selected 12th overall in the 1973 NBA Draft. The 7-foot center spent his first two seasons in Buffalo before becoming a major threat when he joined the Houston Rockets in 1974. In his five years with Houston, Kunnert averaged 10.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 blocks per game. He spent three year in Portland and retired in 1982.
