It is Tuesday, December 3rd and there are 11 games scheduled in the NBA. The TNT doubleheader will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET with an exciting matchup between the Orlando Magic and New York Knicks. Later in the evening at 10 p.m. ET, the Golden State Warriors will take on the Denver Nuggets in the Mile High City as the second game of the TNT doubleheader.
Cade Cunningham (PG – DET)
DraftKings: $9,700FanDuel: $8,900Cade Cunningham
has been nicked up lately with a hip injury, but he is not on the injury report for Tuesday’s game, so he is presumably a go. When healthy, Cunningham is fantasy gold, going for 24 points with 11 assists, six rebounds, four 3-pointers, and two steals last time out in an NBA Cup game at Indiana.
Cunningham has managed six straight double-doubles, with a triple-double at Washington on November 17. He went for 22.7 points per game (PPG), 9.6 assists per game (APG), 7.8 rebounds per game (RPG) and 2.2 3-pointers made per game in 13 November games. He has also knocked down at least two 3-pointers in eight consecutive outings.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (PG – OKC)
DraftKings: $10,300FanDuel: $10,800We’ve relied upon
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
several times this season, and he never seems to disappoint. He has a favorable matchup against the Utah Jazz, a team allowing 117.9 PPG with a defensive field-goal % of 47.8%, which ranks 23rd in the NBA.
He dropped 32 points on the Houston Rockets last time out in a loss on Sunday while posting eight rebounds, five assists, three 3-pointers and two steals in 36 minutes. He has scored 32+ points in four straight games and in six of the past seven outings. He has scored 28+ points in 12 of the past 13 contests. You always get your money’s worth with Gilgeous-Alexander.
Franz Wagner (SF, PF – ORL)
DraftKings: $9,600FanDuel: $9,700Talk about consistency,
Franz Wagner
has been a picture of it lately. He has scored 20+ points in six straight games. In addition, he posted 20 points, nine rebounds, and eight rebounds last time out at Brooklyn on Sunday despite a 4-of-17 shooting night, which was a rare off night for someone who takes as many shots as he does from close range.
Wagner hit 46.6% of his field-goal attempts in November while averaging 25.4 PPG, 6.5 APG, 5.9 RPG, 2.0 steals per game (SPG,) and 2.2 3-pointers per game. The poor shooting night last time out likely dropped his DFS salary slightly. Take advantage.
Scottie Barnes (PG, SF – TOR)
DraftKings: $8,300FanDuel: $9,100Scottie Barnes
is a little more of a value at DraftKings, as you can see. He just missed his second consecutive triple-double last time out, going for 23 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists in 35 minutes in a win over the Miami Heat. In the prior game, also against the Heat, he had 24 points with 10 rebounds and 10 assists while posting three 3-pointers.
Barnes has been pretty hot since returning from a month-long injury. He has scored two or more 3-pointers in four straight outings while grabbing six or more boards in all six games since coming back.
Bennedict Mathurin (SG, SF – IND)
DraftKings: $7,000FanDuel: $6,500Unlike Barnes above,
Bennedict Mathurin
is a cheaper option on FanDuel. Mathurin has picked up the pace since a tough night in Houston on November 20, going for 12+ points in six straight, while grabbing six or more boards in five of those six outings.
The former Arizona Wildcats star has stepped up his game from behind the arc, too, hitting two or more 3-pointers in three straight games, averaging 2.7 3-pointers per outing.
Michael Porter Jr. (SF, PF – DEN)
DraftKings: $7,300FanDuel: $6,900Michael Porter Jr.
is another player we’ve enjoyed using in the past, especially when the price is right. He is coming off a strong game Sunday against the L.A. Clippers, posting 18 points with seven rebounds on 8-of-11 shooting, including a make of his only 3-point attempt. Porter Jr. was good for 20.2 PPG, 7.1 RPG, and 3.1 APG with 2.9 3-pointers per game in November.
Deandre Ayton (C – PR)
DraftKings: $6,700FanDuel: $6,500Deandre Ayton
has been very efficient lately, going for 20.0 PPG, 9.3 RPG, and 1.0 SPG in the past three outings. He hit 8-of-11 field-goal attempts last time out against the Dallas Mavericks, going for 18 points, seven rebounds and three assists in 32 minutes. Before that, he had an 11-of-19 shooting night in his most recent NBA Cup game against the Sacramento Kings on Friday, ending up with 26 points and nine boards.
Andrew Wiggins (SF, PF – GSW)
DraftKings: $6,300FanDuel: $6,200Andrew Wiggins
should find plenty of open spaces against the Nuggets, a team allowing 116.4 PPG, 24th in the NBA. Denver is also allowing teams to hit 46.9% from the field, ranking 21st in the NBA.
Wiggins hasn’t been crushing it, but he has been super consistent with 16+ points in seven straight games while posting five or more boards in four of his past six outings. He also has three or more assists in five of the past six outings, while hitting two or more 3-pointers in seven straight. He doesn’t give you a ton, but he chips in a little in multiple areas.
Guerschon Yabusele (PF – PHI)
DraftKings: $5,700FanDuel: $5,700The 28-year-old big man should exceed salary expectations on Tuesday night.
Joel Embiid
(knee, personal) is sidelined, as is
Andre Drummond
(ankle), so there are plenty of minutes available in the frontcourt.
Guerschon Yabusele
has started four games in a row, averaging 11.3 PPG, 8.0 RPG, and 1.5 APG, while chipping in with a total of three blocked shots with eight 3-pointers in the four-game span.
Isaac Okoro (SG, SF – CLE)
DraftKings: $4,000FanDuel: $3,900Isaac Okoro
continues to make starts with
Max Strus
sidelined. He isn’t going to give you a ton, but at this price, if you can get a starter, you have to include him when the matchup is favorable like it is against Washington.
Okoro is averaging 6.5 RPG, 3.3 RPG and 2.5 APG in his past four games while hitting two 3-pointers in three of the four games.
Cason Wallace (PG, SG – OKC)
DraftKings: $4,300FanDuel: $4,600Cason Wallace
struggled in Friday’s NBA Cup game against the Lakers, going for just two points on 1-of-5 shooting in 31 minutes. Head coach Mark Daigneault stayed the course and rolled with Wallace on Sunday in Houston, and the move paid off nicely. He had 14 points with nine rebounds and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes. If he can replicate those numbers he’d be a tremendous bargain.
Vasilije Micić(PG – CHA)
DraftKings: $4,500FanDuel: $5,100Vasilije Micić
has been getting some extra run, and that should continue with
LaMelo Ball
(calf) sidelined for at least two weeks due to a strained calf. Micić went for 15 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals with three 3-pointers in 34 minutes last time out against the Atlanta Hawks. In his past two games, Micić has averaged 12.0 PPG, 6.5 APG, 5.0 RPG, 2.0 3-pointers, and 1.0 SPG, making him a huge value at this price.
